On government sponsored National Health Care we have to not only reject it but also return to a healthy free market environment where people can pay for their medical expenses out of their pocket. Sounds crazy, doesn’t it? How in the world can we accomplish that if health care is so expensive? It is out of the reach for even high middle class folks.
However, it wasn’t like that in the past. People were able to pay cash for their health care. What went wrong? I remember around the decade of the late 50’s how my father with 9 children in the house and being the only one working was able to provide health care for all of us. There was no insurance, no Medicaid, no government helps at all. One of my sisters needed an open-heart surgery and she was able to get it and my father paid for it cash. My father was a music teacher and a part time piano tuner, placing him on a low middle class status. All of us were able to have the family doctor come to the house and have treatment when it was necessary. The doctor was able to have a financially stable life.
Now we are in a situation in which we stopped thinking because we leave Mainstream Media and politicians to do the thinking for us. They are spinning us with through a roller coaster of more government synthetic solutions to fix the consequences of their own previous fixes to health care. The Health Care System Obama and the democrats are proposing will come back to haunt us if they ever pass it. The reason is that it is a synthetic solution and like all synthetic medications, they have side effects. As a matter of fact, the problems we are having today are side effects of the synthetic solutions applied to health care.
There is one thing that is very important for us to understand and that is: The Free Market is the natural way and it works well even though is not a perfect system. The only perfect environment that ever existed on earth has been the Garden of Eden and we are not there any longer. The Free Market made it possible for most Americans to pay cash for their health care so the poor in the poorest state could afford it and the doctors were able to live well from their profession. The Free Market system is as natural as our physical auto immune system or our nervous autonomic system. They work pretty well until we try to take it on our own to manage it. I am not going to go here into details but it is possible by our own personal choices to interrupt the normal function of many of our physical autonomic systems. The Free market works well without government interventions. But they have interrupted the system trying to correct a system that has a self-correcting mechanism. Once the bad consequence of their interruption comes, people have forgotten or never thought possible that there was a self-correcting mechanism in the free market system and join government with more synthetic solutions that eventually over the decades will destroy the hen that lays golden eggs. The earth shakes once in a while producing earthquakes but they won’t last long enough. It will eventually stop when the self-correcting mechanism the earth has built in will kick in. Imagine the earth lacking that mechanism.
The beautiful thing about the free market is that people will not abuse their bodies or make unnecessary visits to the doctor knowing they will have to pay for them. People were responsible for their own physical bodies and the care of it. Today we have government mandating hospitals to treat anyone who enter through an emergency room for treatment having or not having money or insurance. There is no investigation about the lifestyle of the patient. There are so many people abusing their bodies with all kind of recreational drugs, legal drugs and irresponsible lifestyles.
Medicine Is Not An Exact Science
There is a temptation for the medical class to abandon their focus on the health of the patient and place it on surviving economically as their first priority. What method to use to treat a patient varies and one could be much more desirable than the other or others. The best method could be the one cheapest and greater health benefits for the patient but could bankrupt or at least hurt financially the pharmaceuticals. The medical class receives many benefits from the pharmaceuticals when they use their products. It is very easy for the medical class to go with the preferred choice of the pharmaceuticals when the patients lack knowledge of medicine.
Many of the patients think that science is an exact science and the doctor is totally interested what is best for the patient. They will if they go out of their way to take time to know their patient and ask questions and do research in not only with drugs but with anything that have to do with a patient as a whole person. But it is too much for a doctor to do that and try to make a living after the great effort to become a doctor. So what is left is for the patient to become educated and take the risk of treating him or herself. Many are doing it today with success. Others are just getting worst or just barely succeeding.
The alternative medicine movement had arrived just because of the medical class abandoning the quality care for patients and substituting it with an over treatment with drugs. Who is to blame? Politicians are to blame. The medical class will go bankrupt and is going bankrupt because the burden placed on them by trial lawyers suing the medical class as if medicine is an exact science. There are cases that were clearly mal practices. But many were just human errors or it just didn’t have anything to do with a doctor’s actions. To protect themselves from mal practice doctors had to buy expensive mal practice insurances. Today many young people don’t study medicine anymore.
How this fit with National Health Care? Once we don’t have a strong medical class that advocate for choices in the treatment for patients and once the only choice is drugs, it is easy for government to argue that they can manage health care. You can be sure that behind government there are all of those pharmaceuticals lining up for a take. The only defense we have is to become medicine smart. It is easier know to learn about medicine and alternative medicine. We should have the right to treat ourselves. It is our body anyway and who is more interested to take care of what belong to us than us? Of course, addictions are more powerful than the ability to do what is right in many occasions and people mistreat their own bodies. Once government take over you can say good-bye to our choices.
If we go back to the free market prices will start going down because there will be an elimination of many middlemen involved. The transaction will be simplified to you, your doctor and the pharmaceutical if it is necessary. The free market will make us responsible and we will not destroy our bodies if we are paying for our own health care. We will not make doctor visits that we will not need to. This is pure common sense that you will never find with politicians and their elitist friends, the big pharmaceuticals and Main Steam Media. Get educated and enjoy more freedom. And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.

Excesive Laws
Over the years we have become so overwhelmed with the excesive amount of laws. It is like politicians think they need to constanly legislate in order for them to earn credentials. That is the way the public seems to believe is a politician's job or that is what we need. I am waiting for that moment in which a politician will get elected campaigning to un-legislate and dismantle many ridiculous laws instead of for the opposite.
The increase of laws is a sign of moral decay, believe or not. It is a sign that virtuous men and women are decreasing in our society. The law was given to the Jews to make them feel how unrighteous they were in order to bring them to Jesus. Bible Christians students know this. In other words, the law will not make anyone virtuous but on the contrary will make the cut we all have bleed unrighteousness. But the more love and virtuousity we show the less laws we need. As a matter of fact, the reason we need government in the first place is because we are not perfect. If we were perfect we wouldn't have need for government.
Our society today is showing signs of decay. We have been victimized by politicians, some with good intentions, others with good intentions for them. We have had the cooperation of The Main Stream Media in this victimization frenzy together with our university professors and our public schools. We think we need all the help we can get from government while our efforts to strive for the best suffers. We elect the wrong politicians to office because we lack the desire of freedom because we feel we don't need much of it except to practice some negative disordely conduct. If we are not using freedom to be the best we can be why have it? "Use it or loose it", is the saying. Well, we are loosing it little by little everyday without we even noticing it.
We feel good when we here politicians aiming at punishing the high earners of our society accusing them of being greedy. Guess what?, we keep raising the taxes on the one that produce more, and make more by consequence, and little by little poverty will hit us in the bottom even harder. It will trickle down eventually to the hard working poor.
The bottom line: wake up and smell the coffee! The "elite" is in the government trying to fools us all. Is about money but is not who have lots of it that necesarily is an elitist. Those politicians in favor of bigge gevernment and more laws and restrictions of our freedoms are the "elitists".

Where Is "We The People"?
What is going on? The economy is sending us a message and we think is because government hasn't done enough instead of thinking the opposite, government had done more than enough damage already. The thing is that we don't have a sense of what had happened that brought us where we are today. We get easily distracted by politicians telling us that they are going to fix the economy. When politicians start spending more and increasing regulations is a sign that the economy is not going to recover but get worst. But we are not hearing the truth from politicians, Main Stream Media and not even from conservative Republicans in the way it should be heard. I will say to these politicians, "Let "we the people" free.
Without trying to be harsh, why are we allowing the government (by electing certain class of politicians) moving all kind of resources toward the poor and the falling middle class while burdening the ones that in reality bring jobs to them. This is happening because we have fallen under the spell of many distractions while greedy and misinformed politicians are not wasting any time to restructure government in a socialist fashion. We are so distracted with so much sports, drugs, alcohol, two jobs, too much of everything except watching the politicians. We think we don't need to watch them because we have a job and a house and extra money so we think they are doing what "we the people" elected them there for".
Between government and "we the people" it is "we the people" that create wealth. All "we the people" need is freedom. Freedom to create and invent. Freedom to make all kind of transaction among "we the People". The government should only be having a small role among we the people which is making sure we are not violating other people rights. It is "we the people" that create associations, churches and all kind of charity associations to help those that are in need. The power is really among us and not within the government. But we have listened to politicians saying to us elections after elections for many years that they are going to bring heaven to earth.
While we slept government had multiply and elongated its octopus arms all around us very closed. If we try to move now, I think it will be to late. Most university professors, Main Stream Media, Big Labor Unions, the feminist movement and others have brought us too far. we can't hardly think straight anymore. We have left others to do the thinking for us. What is left for us "we the people"? Big Government is the consequence. Government controlling the automobile industry, The Banks, Wall Street. Politicians accusing the private sector of greed and corruption to make them look saints when they are even more corrupted. And "we the people" don't know what is going on.
The only solution I see to this mess is what is going to happen eventually anyway. The fall of our economy is going to wake us up. Government is going to fail real bad. How can expect to succeed if I see the building being built on sand? The foundation is weak. The economy in America was built on the strong shoulders of "we the People" and not on the weak shoulders of politicians. Capitalism and the free market operated by us, not by politicians. The Great Depression happened because of government intrusion a decade before but it was "we the people " that brought it to an end against many obstacles placed by F.D.R. on us.
When we bounce up from what is coming, we are going to learn a forgotten lesson about how important is "we the People" for the whole nation. We have to again minimize the power of government and increase the power of "we the People". We the people will take care even of the needy. we should never forget to supervise politicians and not having them supervise and dictate to us. The philosophy of government should be according to those among the people that are more productive because the productive ones are what the unproductive ones can benefit from if they want to. Usually government envy the productive private sector and try to take that power away from them. And usually career politicians are not very good in the private sector and they try to use government to confiscate private property for their own benefit.

THE NATURAL FORCES OF THE FREE MARKET
There are natural forces hat works on our behalf if we let them. That includes natural inclinations of our physical bodies that will try to heal us if we provide the ingredients in our diet. But there is also a way to mask the symptoms when we get sick in many occasions. We can take the drugs the doctor prescribes us. We will continue like if we are doing fine. We might continue taking some types of drug for life and we think everything is just fine until one day another symptom shows up and we are prescribed with another drug for it. It might happen that another sickness comes right along and we think is has nothing to do with the medications we have been taking for so long but it could possibly be. Of course the doctors prescribed the medications with good intentions but we are in charge of our bodies. We should acquire some knowledge and make decisions together with our health professionals.
We could have just avoided getting sick in the first place if we have just avoided eating some types of food and included some that were missing. But not so fast! There is another problem that even though we can be eating apparently well and naturally is missing but is not necessarily our fault. The food industry today is a synthetic world of food. We can even eat apples and good foods from the supermarket and still missing necessary nutrients. The whole process of sowing, reaping, collecting, storekeeping, transporting and cooking our food is very deficient. The most deficient one is the fact that the soil the food industry use to sow the food we eat is depleted. The soil is not given a chance to rest and recover from each season of sowing and reaping. They keep using the same depleted soil but just add some synthetic nutrients and that is it. The enzymes and live organism naturally present in the soil is hardly present in our foods if any. So when we eat junk foods all the time we are in double trouble. No wonder there are so many people overweight and sick these days.
There is a natural order in government. Government is an institution created by God also so we can govern ourselves. The type of government that God intended for the Israelites (and for us later) was based on judges that will interpret and judge the people through the Constitution based on God's Word. I can just assume that He was on the process of perfecting the system. However, the people asked for a monarchy. It was the same think as asking for an elite. Later on God raised United States of America with the same principles as He was using with the Israelites, which was a Constitution, based on his laws but with freedom and liberties to practice virtue. God advised the Israelites what was going to happen to them with a king and freedom and liberties was not among them. So we can say that any government that is too big is like an elite or moving toward it. A government with a small government means that the power is among the people to practice virtue. When we don't practice virtue the elite will bring big government (the synthetic form) over us to steal our wrong used freedoms and liberties. Like the advertisement that says, "Use it or loose it".
We can add other natural versus synthetic examples to prove that The Free Market is another system that God created for us to use wisely. The Great Depression was a consequence of years before (around 1913) of a new system that was established to control our monetary system. The creation of the Federal Reserve System might have been a good thing or not but certainly it was from its bad management in the beginning that started causing problems when banks runs gave early signal that there were some problems with the economy. Everything appeared to be normal but they were not and more bad government decisions made things worst. Recommending reading "Free To Choose" by Milton Friedman. Again, free market was again under attack. As people were under stress, and I don't blame them, they choose a candidate that will violate the free market principles since by doing nothing things were getting worst. Instead of removing what was clogging the free market they added more synthetic policies. The war and other things brought everything under an apparent peace. But from there on the freedom and liberties of the people started to bend toward less freedom and less ordinary people doing extraordinary things and more big corporations lobbying in government for their own power and privileges chocking the people's gifts and talent to be more creative. More regulations and higher taxes started to choke the middle class.
As an example of government chocking the free market forces that we are paying the consequences today is Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae. It started as an agency created by F.D.R. to help the poor get mortgages. It was working maybe fine but it was still a synthetic form of policy that was still affecting the free market in a small degree until the decade of the 60's and worst in the 70's with the creation of the "Community Reinvestment Act". The following is an excerpt from "The Australian" online Newspaper of the year: SOME milestones in the prehistory of the crisis. 1933: As part of the New Deal, investment banks are stopped from also acting as commercial banks (which would have given them bank deposits and more stability). 1938: As part of the New Deal, president (Franklin D.) Roosevelt creates Fannie Mae and in 1970 Congress creates Freddie Mac. With their implicit government guarantees they can offer cheaper loans and expand until they dominate the American mortgage market. 1989: The American government step(s) in and pay(s) for the savings and loan crisis, which sets a precedent. 1995: The Community Reinvestment Act is revised so that banks and thrifts are forced to give home loans to low and moderate-income households as well. In return they are allowed to repackage and sell those sub-prime risks to others, which Bear Stearns pioneers in 1997. 2001-03: Instead of letting the market get rid of bad businesses and loans after the dotcom bubble and 9/11, the (Federal Reserve) reduces its rate from 6.5 per cent to 1 per cent (with) a dramatic expansion of the money supply, which creates a real estate bubble. Again we see government ignoring the forces off the free market and trying to establish a synthetic form of market that will never work.
